One thing that has stood out to him throughout his journey in the industry is how valuable a good real estate listing truly is. In the times of the pandemic when scheduled appointments were the only way to go, listings on Zillow, Realtor and others acted as the showing itself. Videos and 3D virtual tours of each room stitched together replaced the ‘open house’ events. Although COVID barriers have since loosened up in Miami, real estate agencies are still weighing a lot of importance and value on the listings. In effect, this subset within the visual arts industry offers a unique opportunity to photographers in the Miami area — and Alex Marrero is excited to dive in!

An entrepreneur at heart, Alex Marrero enjoys shining the spotlight on small businesses in Miami whenever he can. This can be seen in his upcoming cuisine focused portfolio. Alex hopes to collaborate with local seafood restaurants, cafes and BBQ spots in the summer. Putting the delicious flavors of the city on display is a natural move for this Miamian, whose passion for supporting local ventures and startups has always been at the forefront of.
