Fiesta Fridays at Miami Marlins Park

Starting May 17th thru September 20th 2024, Miami Marlins Park will host Fiesta Fridays: the Miami Marlins postgame party of the summer! On select Friday nights through the summer, the Marlins welcome all MLB fans to dance on the field all the way to the Recess Sports Lounge. Alex Marrero, Miami Culture Enthusiast and Photographer, shares the details:

All-new for the 2024 season, the Miami Marlins MLB (Major League Baseball) team will host Fiesta Fridays. Presented by Budweiser, this event will feature $5 brews all-game-long. But that’s not even the best part, if you ask Photographer and Miami Marlins fan Alex Marrero! Best of all is the postgame hora loca: a Miami-style postgame party that features ice cold drinks, delicious food and music played by a DJ! Oh yeah and how could Marrero forget? The night comes complete with dancing on the Miami Marlins Park field! Boogie from the LoanDepot Park field to Recess Sports Lounge. Now that’s a fun summer night in the Magic City!

Miami Marlins Home Game Schedule 2024

The Miami Marlins Fiesta Fridays will be presented on select Friday nights during the summer portion of the Miami Marlins 2024 season. Anticipated dates include the following home games:

May 17th: New York Mets
May 31st: Texas Rangers
June 7th: Cleveland Guardians
June 21st: Seattle Mariners
July 5th: Chicago White Sox
July 19th: New York Mets
August 9th: San Diego Padres
August 23rd: Chicago Cubs
September 6th: Philadelphia Phillies
September 20th: Atlanta Braves

Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami

The excitement of race car engines roaring and fans cheering will fill the Hard Rock Stadium this weekend, May 6-8, 2022. And Alex Marrero, Miami entrepreneur and auto photographer, can’t wait!

It’s finally here: the Magic City’s first Formula 1 Grand Prix! This adrenaline-pumping race is as highly anticipated as it is high-speed! Kicking off on Friday, May 6th, the inaugural event for the F1 in Miami is expected to welcome more than 300,000 fans to the Hard Rock Stadium. While it’s an exciting bill for auto enthusiasts and car photographers like Alex Marrero, it’s also a major point of pride for small business owners in the area.

The crowds being drawn to the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami are expected to surpass some of the biggest tourist-driving events in the Magic City’s history. If anyone was impressed with the attendance at the 2020 Super Bowl or the annual Art Basel Festival, then the stands at F1 are going to blow them all away! With auto enthusiasts and F1 aficionados being made up of a higher class of executives and upper echelon types, the price tag on tickets has soared to the thousands. As have the cost of the high-class entertainment attendees will be enjoying in the Miami area, from $100,000/night stays in top suites to $3,000 plate dinners at the Magic City’s most marvelous fine dining restaurants.

The first Saturday of May, all aspiring photographers ages 9+ are welcome to attend the “Nature Photography” adventure. Alex Marrero, Miami entrepreneur, shares the exciting details:

Explore the natural environment of Deering Estate with your camera in hand! Aspiring photographer and proud Miamian, Alex Marrero certainly will! This is a great opportunity for nature lovers, photographers of all ability levels or even friends and family. Even if you’re just a local or a visitor to the Miami area, there’s plenty of relaxation and fun to be enjoyed at Deering Estate’s nature photography event.

During the nature photography session, a Deering Estate Naturalist will guide you through the grounds on a tour. Along the way, you’ll learn all about the natural environment while being taught valuable techniques for capturing photos in outdoor areas. Educational, fun and full of opportunities to capture the great outdoors with your — what’s not to be enjoyed?? Even if you’re not a photographer, this event is a wonderful opportunity to tap into your artistic and creative side. Finding his footing as a new artist, Alex Marrero looks forward to capturing the scenes with his camera. And you should, too!

House of Horror Haunted Carnival

Miami International Mall, 6 pm to 11 pm on October 31st

This creepy cool carnival features 3 haunted houses and an immersive Scare-X experience. The Houses of Horror are a whole lot of fun, but the Scare-X is where it’s really at! The immersive experience is a fan-favorite. And of course, the carnival will have all the bells and whistles of the summer fair, including sweet and savory treats, rides, games and plenty of prizes to win!

Miami named most beautiful city for cycling

In Miami’s mention on the Top 10 list, Money highlighted the Rickenbacker Causeway. Connecting Miami to Key Biscayne, the Rickenbacker Causeway is certainly a cycling site you’ve got to check out. The article also listed off the scenic views of the sea as a key highlight of bike paths in Miami.
